CUSTOM COMMISSIONS
We turn your sketch, image or spatial idea into a custom sculpture brief. Plan the form, scale, material and installation context with our team before production.
We turn your sketch, image or spatial idea into a custom sculpture brief. Plan the form, scale, material and installation context with our team before production.
A photograph, sketch, rendering or three-dimensional file can communicate your intent. Add the approximate overall size, quantity, destination and intended setting. If material or dimensions are undecided, explain the visual effect and the space rather than guessing a technical specification.
We bring design development, modelling, sculpture production and installation planning together around your project. We agree the finish, base, packing, transport and site responsibilities with you, and identify the drawings and appearance references to approve before making begins.
A useful brief identifies the visual reference, expected viewing distance, access route, indoor or outdoor setting, base arrangement and any deadline constraints. These details support a meaningful project review; price and timing depend on the agreed specification.
As your custom sculpture manufacturer, we begin with your artwork, setting and the decisions you want help with. Is the artwork an original bespoke art commission, an adaptation of a portfolio reference, or an identified character model? A sculpture supplier inquiry should name that route. Include front and side views if available, a floor plan or landscape view, approximate dimensions and the intended viewing distance. For sculpture from a sketch or a sculpture from a photograph, annotate the shape, pose and details that must remain recognizable. An inspiration image is a starting point for discussion; it is not a complete fabrication drawing.
A custom sculpture quotation should make its assumptions visible. Compare the artwork body, sculpture pedestal design, finish, approved reference, quantity and destination, then identify what is included in packing, transport and installation coordination. Sculpture procurement is easier when the comparison sheet uses the same dimensions and scope for every offer. Ask for sculpture material specifications rather than accepting a colour name as a material description. A sculpture project budget should separate the artwork from surrounding construction and any destination work. Describe an opening date as a project constraint; do not assume a production slot from a portfolio image.
The sculpture design approval record should identify the latest drawing revision and the person authorised to approve it. A useful sequence to discuss is visual direction, dimensional layout, material and finish reference, then the agreed production and dispatch checks. We agree the sculpture fabrication process with you around the selected design and material. Use sculpture finish samples to settle the intended appearance under relevant light. Record which surfaces, junctions, lettering or patterns are critical, so a later photograph can be compared with the agreed reference rather than a memory.
For a large sculpture installation, send the receiving route as well as the final position. Doors, lifts, stairs, loading areas and the turning space around the artwork can affect the proposed delivery arrangement. Outdoor sculpture commissioning also needs a description of exposure, public access and the supporting site work. For indoor sculpture commissioning, include ceiling height, floor finishes and nearby fixtures. These inputs support an installation discussion; they do not replace a project-specific engineering review. We work through sculpture foundation design, lifting, local approvals and final positioning with your project team, identifying the responsible parties in the agreed scope.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Questions about Custom sculpture, from your idea.
Discuss your requirements ↗Provide the reference, overall size with units, quantity, location, intended use, requested finish and scope. List undecided items explicitly. An RFQ with clear assumptions supports a more comparable quotation.
Yes, an initial inquiry can describe the intended appearance and setting. The actual material, finish, fabrication method and technical responsibilities must be resolved before the specification is approved.
The reviewed design, dimensions, quantity, material proposal, finish, base and delivery scope influence the quotation. No universal price is stated for this portfolio; request a written offer for the actual project.
Ask for a feasibility review using the reference and target dimensions. Changing scale can change the design and installation proposal, so a resized version needs its own approved drawings and quotation.
Keep the agreed visual reference, dimensioned drawings, material and finish decisions, scope, revision numbers and written approvals. Record changes against that version so the buyer and maker share the same acceptance reference.
Tell us the destination and the on-site assistance you need. We work through transport, customs, receiving, lifting, site preparation and installation with you, then identify the agreed services and responsibilities in your proposal.
